Development Programme for the Prevention and Care of Diabetes 2000-2010 (Finland, 2007)
The Development Programme for the Prevention and Care of Diabetes (DEHKO 2000-2010) is Finland’s national diabetes programme. It aims to prevent type 2 diabetes and diabetes-related complications to improve the quality of diabetes care and to support the self-care of people with diabetes.

St Vincent Declaration 1989
The St Vincent Declaration is the result of unanimous agreement by representatives of government health departments and patients’ organisation from all countries of Europe, WHO Europe and IDF Europe. The Declaration provides the framework for general goals and five-year targets for people with diabetes.
